OEzge Bahar Sunar was born in Sakarya, Turkey. She graduated from Dokuz Eylul University, Computer Teaching Department, and then went on to complete her master's degree at Yildiz Technical University, Department of Educational Administration and Supervision. After teaching for 12 years at the National Ministry of Education, OEzge shifted her focus to writing the children's books that she had only dreamed of for years. She has written many books, and her books have been translated into over 10 languages. Now, besides writing stories, she is interested in philosophy for children. She lives in Antalya, Turkey, with her husband and two children.
