She worked for more than 20 years as an Education Assistant in several elementary schools. Her experience with special needs students inspired stories of friendship and belonging.
Joanne is the proud mother of 2 grown children and grandmother of 3 precious grand babies! She lives in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia with her husband and, of course, her dog.
