Maui will always have a special place in my heart. Charles and I were struggling with fertility issues. We were blessed with one beautiful daughter but knew God had plans for more. After unsuccessful in vitro fertilization, or IVF, and two miscarriages, the fertility Gods in Maui blessed us with five more children! Our family is now complete with eight. My favorite memory of Maui is when we would take our early morning walks along Wailea Beach as we watched the sunrise. I imagine heaven looks like Maui, with its lush greenery, gorgeous flowers, and tasty fresh fruits. The drive to Hana is unforgettable with the black sand beaches and extreme beauty. I am forever grateful to marry into a family with deep Hawaiian roots. AJ is an up-and-coming female author, owner of Yellow Daisy Publishing Company, and CEO of Queen Publishing Agency. She is a super mom to 6 kids, 4 of whom have the invisible disability of Apraxia of Speech, and is an awareness advocate for ApraxiaKids. AJ uses her expertise from dancing with the NBA Denver Nugget Dancers and is currently a dance instructor to empower young girls to be 21st-century boss babes! Zoey's Great Adventures(TM) book series is based on events in the lives of the author and her children. AJ teaches parents and children alike the power of a positive mindset, anti-bullying, and good societal morals and values.
