Harrison Harmon was born in Tampa, Florida, in 1978 to an American father and an Indian mother. Officially Harrison is a web and software developer engineer, but his heart also beats for chess. The passion for this fantastic game was transmitted to him by his mother Akhila, who descends from a well-known family of Indian chess players.
