Melannie Baum is an author, mother and native Ohioan. She grew up around tractors, horses, and other farm animals. Her father-in-law, Tom, had a blue tractor that he used often on his farm. This book (1 of a series) is inspired by all these things, especially the memories she has of Farmer Tom driving his grandchildren around on his big blue tractor.
