Raised in a pseudo-Jewish cult, in Canada (by people not-of-colour is implied, right?). By the age of 17, I was aware of two facts: 1) I had been programmed to see the world in a certain way, and to believe it would come to end at some point in my 30s. 2) I had been programmed wrong. While the tools would be useful, they would not get me through my life.
