Lisette M. Díaz was born in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico where she enjoyed taking part in many of the activities described in this book. At the age of eight her family relocated to Kissimmee, Florida. She is currently a vocalist, author, speaker, and educator. Even though she had to leave her island, Lisette holds all of its traditions close to her heart, and along with her husband she hopes to pass those traditions on to her three beautiful children. Lisette M. Díaz nació en Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico donde disfrutó de muchas de las actividades descritas en este libro. A la edad de ocho años su familia se mudó a Kissimmee, Florida. Actualmente Lisette es vocalista, autora, oradora, y maestra. A pesar de que tuvo que dejar su isla, ella atesora todas sus tradiciones y, junto a su esposo, espera transmitir esas tradiciones a sus tres hermosos hijos.
