Sue O'Callaghan and Joanne Webb have each raised four teenagers and believe their success as parents and educators lies in their ability to empower individuals. They have developed tools and strategies to live whole and fulfilled lives while also overcoming suffering, pain, and fear. Combining forces in this book, with their own unique and powerful years of resilience learned through experiences that include battling social agencies over child custody matters, teaching in prisons, coaching sport, and raising hundreds of children in boarding schools. Running outdoor education programs, suriving childhoods of their own that for one included having a father in prison and abusive relationships, these women have learned the art of survival and thriving and have become powerful advocates for finding happiness regardless of what life throws at you. In addition to public speaking, teaching, training, writing and parenting, Sue and Jo run the popular podcast series 'Pods with Posh and Pool' - established to disrupt the theory that everyone has perfect lives - and more recently co-host ManPODS and TeenPODS. They are also co-founders of ImpACT-Mental Health - insisting that a positive mindset, gratitude and a healthy sense of self are vital contributing factors that empower individuals to live a fulfilled life, regardless of the circumstances that present.
