Audrey C. Ralph is a retired registered nurse who spent over 25 years in the field of geriatric care, first as a nursing supervisor, then as a geriatric in-home care specialist. During her career, she helped those in her care to live happier, healthier, and more fulfilled lives. She spent her early career as a public health nurse, then worked as a nursing supervisor for the Visiting Nurses Association of New York - working in New York City and Spanish Harlem. In her later years, she gained knowledge and experience caring for older patients, first as a nursing supervisor at Rydal Park Medical Center, then as an in-home care specialist. Audrey was born and grew up in Hamden, Connecticut. She had an older sister named Dorothy, who worked as a bank teller and secretary. Her mother was a full-time homemaker, and her father was an officer in a plumbing supply company in New Haven, Connecticut. She trained as a registered nurse at Grace New Haven School of Nursing. She went on to get her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Education from Syracuse University, and her Master of Science in Nursing Education from Yale University. Audrey enjoys activities such as singing in various church groups, gardening, reading, natural science, and being with family and friends. She lives in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.
