Tracey Mellert is a writer of young adult fiction, fiction, and science fiction. She is the author of five books. When not brainstorming writing ideas, she works as a nurse in an intensive care unit. She lives in Barboursville, West Virginia with her husband and two children. Her friend and co-writer Katie Whitt inspires her daily.
