Nohra is originally from Bogot�, Colombia, studied and lived in France for a while, and now resides in the United States. She loves nature, books, languages and dance, and considers learning as one of the great privileges and pleasures of being alive. She also believes that children deserve the best nourishment for their souls in the form of great books, of which she has surrounded herself and her three sons wherever they go. She has been a lecturer, a project manager for an NGO, an au pair, a homeschooler, an immigrant, a cook, a literacy promoter, a counselor, and a chicken lady. For twenty years she has translated and edited books. She lives in Connecticut near the shore where she enjoys many sunsets.
