Heather Muran is a historian for the Wine History Project of San Luis Obispo County. She holds a degree in journalism from San Diego State University and has spent the last decade promoting the wines from coastal San Luis Obispo County to consumers worldwide. Heather conducts research and gathers viticultural history through interviews with local vintners. She enjoys traveling abroad and exploring the great outdoors and has a passion for surfing, hiking and sailing.
