Albert (Al) LeCount is a professional wildlife biologist and writer. He grew up in Washington and received a BS degree in wildlife biology from Washington State University and a MS in wildlife management from the University of Arizona. He worked for the Arizona Game and Fish Department for thirty years before taking a position as associate professor of wildlife at Hocking College in Ohio. In 2018, Al and his wife, Cheryl Mollohan, returned to Arizona to pursue new opportunities.
