Educationist, philanthropist, visionary leader, servant, advocate, and wordsmith are all words that can begin to scratch the surface of who Jazz Killiebrew is. Dr. Killiebrew fell in love with reading at a young age and credits Ann Martin's, The Baby Sitter's Club for serving as the catalyst for what has been a rewarding and joy-filled adventure as an English and Literature teacher and professor. She is known in the classroom for challenging students to think critically and write with clarity. In her class, books, music, and poetry came alive. Dr. Killiebrew is a southern girl. She was born in Alabama. In her leisure time, she enjoys, reading, writing, thought-provoking conversation, shopping, trying new foods, and Alabama football! She and her husband reside in Georgia, where she strives daily to help others imagine their dreams.
