Lissa Wray Beal (PhD, University of St. Michael's College) is professor of Old Testament at Providence Theological Seminary in Otterburne, Manitoba, Canada. She is the author of The Deuteronomist's Prophet: Narrative Control of Approval and Disapproval in the Story of Jehu (2 Kings 9 and 10) (2007) and coeditor (with Mark Boda) of Prophets, Prophecy, and Ancient Israelite Historiography: Essays Arising from Ancient Historiography Section of Canadian Society of Biblical Studies Conference, 2009 (2013).
