Y. C. Leung was born in Hong Kong and raised in both Hong Kong and Calgary, Alberta. Always curious to learn something new, she earned a Certificate in Creative Writing from the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies. Her first book, Spark, was written out of her love of dystopian novels and thriller movies. She lives in Calgary with her spouse and two daughters.
