Urusa Thaenkham has been worked as a specialist in molecular systematics of helminths in the Department of Helminthology, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University, Thailand. She finished her Ph.D. (Tropical Medicine) from Mahidol University. Her research interested is focused on molecular systematics of helminths, in particularly fish- and crustacean-borne trematodes.
