Beverly Mills is an author, educator, and producer with more than thirty years of experience in bringing history to life on stages, in classrooms, and now in published works. With a passion for the history of the American Revolutionary War period she shares with her husband - playwright and fellow historian Thomas N. Mills-Beverly and "Tim" founded American Heritage Publications. And with research skills as finely honed as investigative journalists', they have discovered unsung American heroes of the late 1700s who played pivotal roles in determining the course of history. These intriguing characters come to life in the Mills' audio dramas, teaching guides, and published plays. Beverly has a long history of working for theme parks where previous iterations of works have been performed with tremendous success and popularity at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California, and elsewhere. Her program, "Bringing History Alive," was added to Knott's Adventures in Education programs with historical reenactments and three plays - Independence Now!, A Rising Sun, and A Voice for the People. The once-silent Independence Hall now rang with the enthusiastic voices of school children. Beverly's next project was to become involved in developing educational programs for schools offering distance learning through web-based technology. With an M.S. in Instructional Design and Technology, she has taught Grades K-12 and developed an award-winning, UNEP endorsed environmental program called Kids4Earth.
