Margaret Yap is an associate professor in human resources management at the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in human resources management at Ryerson University and at the University of Toronto. Her research interests include human resources management in a global economy and diversity and equity in organizations focusing on ethnicity/race and gender. Prior to joining Ryerson, she was a research director at a nonprofit research and advisory organization and had held numerous human resources management roles at a multinational organization, including a three-year international assignment in Asia/Pacific. She was the director of the Diversity Institute in Management and Technology from 2006 to 2011.
