Vanessa Pelz-Sharpe is a writer, journalist and activist. She holds an MA in Creative Writing from Birkbeck University. Her writing has been featured in The Independent, Refinery29, SHOWstudio, Feministing and Dazed & Confused. In 2017 she made a short film with BBC2's Victoria Derbyshire about brothel keeping laws. She is a contributor to Ruby Tandoh's mental health anthology 'Do What You Want'.
