Becky Levine earned a master's degree in English Literature before becoming a freelance writer. She is the author of The Writing & Critique Group Survival Guide (Writer's Digest, 2010). Her love of animals started at a young age, and she has fond memories of working in her parents' veterinary clinic. Becky lives in the Santa Cruz mountains with her family and pets.
