Crystal L. Hall is a PhD candidate in New Testament at Union Theological Seminary and an assistant researcher with the Ujamaa Centre for Biblical and Theological Community Development and Research in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. Her research interests include the Pauline corpus, poverty and wealth in the Roman imperial economy, liberationist hermeneutics, and contextual Bible study within contemporary social movements.
