Krissy Bystrom Emery resides in a little coastal town in Northwest Florida, with her husband, four children, and their beloved dog. Life near the sea suits them well, as they enjoy paddle boarding, shell hunting, and catching vivid sunsets on the beach.
Growing up, Krissy spent her summers exploring the shores of Lake Superior, picking wild blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, and apples, and fishing for fresh brook trout. The impact of being exposed to healthy eating habits from the get-go was one of the greatest gifts bestowed upon her.
Krissy has always had a passion for writing, nutrition, and children's education. These interests inspired her to create the book series Suitable Fruitables in the hopes of sharing a little piece of her fruitful adventures and to encourage children to try out new earth grown foods, too.
