Corrine Stoewsand is a personal coach and trainer who teaches mindfulness, social, and emotional skills to individuals, families, and mental health professionals. She is an expert at communicating effectively when emotions run high and has been teaching these skills in workshops for over ten years and in eight countries in North and South America. Her work is drawn from the emerging fields of mindfulness and compassion in western psychology, Zen and Tibetan Buddhism, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and other evidence-based psychotherapies, and the new contemplative neuroscience of attention, compassion and enlightenment. She has dedicated her life to helping individuals and families reduce interpersonal conflict and emotional distress through the cultivation of wisdom and compassion.
