Dr. Denise Marie writes and illustrates children's book for all ages, including adults! Dr. Denise believes that lighthearted stories that grapple with serious topics can be therapeutic to adults. Her story style is inspired by Aesop's Fables and the ability to create lovable and flawed animal characters. Dr. Denise Marie is passionate about Dysautonomia awareness, which led her to create the lovable character of Paxton the fainting goat in the book, Paxton Passes Out! She also owns the DonkeyPenguin trademark for the characters of Donkey and Penguin, two very different characters who help each other "think black, white and gray."
