Theresa Newport Singleton lives in Lafayette Louisiana, with her husband, Eric, and children, Terese Elaine and Eric Jr. She is employed as a high school librarian and has completed thirty-two years in the education of children. Singleton received her undergraduate degree from Dillard University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Her Master's Degree in Library Science was completed at Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia. She enjoys writing Christian lyrics, poetry, and children's stories and songs. She has also recorded music professionally. She has two additional published children's books, Grandfather Lee and the Bees and Pierre's Empty Pouch, both of which delight children and teach a valuable lesson. Singleton looks forward to writing more children's books in the near future.
