Cathie Choromokos Cooper was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She was an educator and advocate for early education and intervention in support of behavior disorders and wrote this story to use in her practice. This book is published in her memory by her children and grandchildren with proceeds being donated to The National Pediatric Foundation.
