Robin Macpherson is Head of College at Robert Gordon's College in Aberdeen. Robin studied history at Oxford University and the University of Edinburgh, and has taught in Scotland, England and the UAE. He has been an examiner for the SQA, Edexcel and the IBO. He has written education books and history textbooks for John Catt Educational, Learning Sciences International and Cambridge University Press. He is involved in education events, as an organiser and speaker, initially as the Content Director of the Telegraph Festival of Education. He went on to co-found EduMod at the Fringe, curated education content for the New York Times Climate Hub at COP26, and is an organiser of researchED Scotland. He is a board member of the charity Remembering Srebrenica Scotland, a Fellow of the RSA, and sits on the Leadership Council of the Democracy and Culture Foundation.
