Jacqueline Gojard, Ph.D., maitre de conferences hors classe, Department of Literature, University of Paris III (Sorbonne nouvelle), has published numerous books and essays on Andre Salmon and other French literary figures as well as edited Salmon's novels, memoirs, chronicles, and a comprehensive a bibliography of his work, and letters to/from Max Jacob (Gallimard, 2009) and Guillaume Apollinaire (Claire Poulhan, 2019). She edited and wrote the preface for the facsimile version of Salmon's masterpiece "Le Manuscrit trouve dans un chapeau chapeau" "The Manuscript Found in a Hat"] (Fata Morgana, 1983), with drawings by Picasso (originally published by La Societe litteraire de France, 1919). Her doctoral dissertation (Paris Sorbonne, 1985) is a study of this work. She prefaced the new edition of "La Negresse du Sacre-Coeur" (Gallimard 2009), followed by Salmon's unpublished text "Veritable cle d'un domaine imaginaire" ["The Real Key to an Imaginary Domaine"]. Salmon's widow Leo asked her to be the executor of the Andre Salmon literary estate.
