Joan Coggn was orn n 1898, went to school at Wycome Aey n the mddle of WW1 and then moved to Eastourne where she ecame a nurse. She then took up wrtng n n the 1930's producng 10 ooks n all, most of them n the short perod etween 1944 and 1949. The Mystery at Orchard House (1946) was the second n the Lady Lupn seres. the others were Who Klled the Curate?, Dancng wth Death, and Why Dd She De?
