Diana Wayand, a graduate of Kent State University, has been writing poetry since she can remember. In retirement she gathered a collection of her poems for a new audience. This is her first publication. Diana is an independent scholar of the life and poetry of Emily Dickinson and feels Dickinson's presence when she writes, a welcome presence. Wayand's feels that even if you say you don't understand poetry, with this collection you may change your mind.
