By profession an architect, the author was born in Romania and migrated to Australia in 1981. Always interested in 'beginnings', she continued, in parallel with exercising her profession, to read extensively on topics like mythology, ancient history, archaeology, the birth, rise and fall of early civilizations, etc., a material much more diverse and available in her new country. She also travelled along the years to many places around the world, including some of those more renowned for their ancient and mysterious megalithic structures. She lives in Sydney, and also paints in her spare time.
