Aya de Leon teaches creative writing at UC Berkeley. She is the author of the children's picture book PUFFY: PEOPLE WHOSE HAIR DEFIES GRAVITY. Kensington Books publishes her award-winning Justice Hustlers feminist heist series for adults, including SIDE CHICK NATION the first novel published about Hurricane Maria. In 2021 Kensington will publish her first spy novel, about FBI infiltration of an African American eco-racial justice organization.
