Karen Griffin is the great granddaughter of Leroy Stockard. As a child, she heard numerous interesting stories about him from her grandfather. She actually grew up in the home that Leroy built in the late 1800s in the small west Texas town of Santa Anna, which he helped to establish. Karen has worked as a corporate writer, an English teacher and a homemaker and has taught Sunday school and Bible studies. This is her first novel.
