Arunas Buntinas is a 14-year veteran prosecutor and supervisor with the Cook County State's Attorney's Office. His assignments have included the Gang Prosecutions Unit, Special Prosecutions Bureau, Felony Trial Division, Homicide/Sex Unit, Grand Jury Unit, and Felony Review. He has handled hundreds of murder cases and tried numerous bench and murder trials. He is currently a Willow Springs, Illinois police officer and has served as a Captain in the United States Army. He has attended the United States Army Intelligence Center and School, and the JFK Special Warfare School. He is a graduate of the United States Army Intelligence Officers Basic and Advanced Courses, Signals Intelligence and Electronic Warfare Course, and the Counter-Intelligence Officer/Agents Course. He is an instructor for North East Multi-Regional Training (NEMRT), where he has taught seminars to Chicago-area police officers, on search and seizure, criminal law, use of force, and other legal issues.
