Lee Broda is an Israeli-born poet who writes about the beauties - and uncertainties - of life from a distinctly observant perspective. Lee's love for poetry and writing began when she was a teenager, growing up in rural Israel. To date she has kept private her poetry; Whispers From the Moon is her first collection which she proudly shares now. Lee's intelligent and passionate creative drive is well known globally. She is a celebrated actor and producer. Significantly, as founder of LB Entertainment, which develops, finances, and produces major independent films, she has sheperded over thirty films to success, including: Michael Almereyda's Experimenter (starring Peter Sarsgaard and Winona Ryder); The Trust (Nicolas Cage, Elijah Wood); The Forgiven (Forest Whitaker, Eric Bana). Lee co-executive produced Dark Places (Charlize Theron, Chloe Grace Moretz); Amnesiac (Kate Bosworth, Wes Bently). Her most recent films include The Pretenders, The Informer, The Kindergarten Teacher, and A Private War, which received two Golden Globe nominations. LB's films have premiered at the world's top film festivals including Sundance, Venice, Toronto, Tribeca, SXSW, BFI and New York Film Festival. LB Entertainment films have been distributed worldwide, garnering international rrecognition, and won many awards. Additionally, Lee is the founder of Women Creating Change, an organization that bridges, empowers, and creates opportunities for female writers, directors, producers, and actors from the Middle East.
