Lori M. Myers is an award-winning writer of creative nonfiction, fiction, essays, and plays. Her plays and children's musicals have been produced in New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and other states throughout the Midwest; several have been published by Pioneer Drama and Blue Moon Plays. Lori has also acted and directed professionally and brings that knowledge of the stage to her written work. She is a Pushcart Prize nominee, a Broadway World Award nominee, the recipient of the West Virginia Tourism Award for Best Print Article, and one of her articles is included in the archives at the National Holocaust Museum in Washington D.C. Her short play "Sight Unseen" was a semi-finalist at the Minnesota Short Play Festival. Bronx-born and New Jersey-raised, Lori grew up around funny people and incorporates that humor in her scripts. She wants audiences to enjoy her plays' stories and characters, and for the actors to have fun performing them.
