Born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, but otherwise a lifelong Miami-Dade County resident - except for service with the US Army in Europe and attending college in California during the 1970s - Andrew has had a deep interest in military history since he was seven years old. Andrew has amassed a huge and rare collection of European 18th and 19th Century Colonial Era Orders of Battle that he has painstakingly analyzed, cross referenced and worked on for over fifty years. Andrew is currently working on several books dealing with obscure 19th Century Colonial military campaigns, including the first ever book written in English dealing with the Franco-Dahomey War of 1890-94 and the 2nd Mahratta War of 1803-05. When Andrew is not busy working on the above projects, which he admittedly claims to be quite relaxing, he is usually designing, producing and playing board wargames and Euro games.
