I've always loved language. Its power, its art, its possibility. A blank canvas. I grew up in Texas, with a loving mother who used to read to him often. I attended writing workshops growing up and pursued my love of writing through college, where I took classes in Creative Writing and Poetry, while on my main path to become a High School Biology Teacher. Writing - for me - is a way of getting sucked into a world of creativity, and honing in on the beautiful details of that world. Once I graduated and went forth into the world, my creativity compounded more and more. I've traveled to over 20 countries, worked at 5 summer camps, created a large group immersive games company, and more. Now, I weave writing into my journey of youth mentorship, with an aim to empower youth through new ideas, stories, and positive influence. "The destiny of the world is determined less by the battles that are lost and won than by the stories it loves and believes in." - Harold Clarke Goddard
