Tony Gloeggler was born in Brooklyn, lives in Queens and hopes to die somewhere nearby and somewhat conveniently. He's managed a group home for developmentally disabled men in Boerum Hill for nearly 30 years. His poems have appeared in numerous journals and anthologies and he has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize a number of times. His chapbook One on One received the 1998 Pearl Poetry Prize. Pavement Saw Press published his first full length collection, ONE WISH LEFT, in 2002 and printed a 2nd edition in 2007. My Other Life was published by Jane Street Press in 2004 and Greatest Hits: 1984-2009 was put out by Pudding House Publications in 2009. His newest collection, THE LAST LIE, was published by NYQ Books in 2010.
