Keith is British, a Lancashire lad, and grew up playing the cornet in Brass Bands. After training as a carpenter and earning a living working in the wind and rain, which he hated, Keith opened a joinery workshop. He ran this until becoming a college lecturer. Over the following twenty years, he steadily rose through the ranks to become Assistant Principal at a large college of further & higher education in Norfolk. Now retired, Keith divides his time between writing and helping child-mind his youngest grandchildren. Keith loves hearing from his readers and can be contacted at keith@keithjfinney.com
