I grew up as a small town, rural girl who never really had much as we were poor, but the interesting thing; I never felt poor. Carol Nowka has 25 years experience as a Certified Financial Planner Professional(R) and as an independent Financial Planning firm that she co-owned with a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and we both were studious. Both team members obtained full certification as financial planners. We focused on helping people understand their financial issues especially as they approached retirement. Nowka lives in Nebraska where she is active in her church and does budget counseling as a volunteer for her church membership. In addition, she promotes her father's books as a publisher. Her father wrote mostly of the history of the area. She has attended several Dave Ramsey (Mr. Ramsey III is an American financial author, radio host, television personality, and motivational speaker. His show and writings strongly focus on encouraging people to get out of debt.) classes, and been trained by Crown Ministries (a Christian resource center). In addition, for the past 15 years she has taken many Bible study classes to add to her financial experience and education. She has taken a 7-day training with George Kinder as a Life Planner
