I have been a Jill of all trades. I started my professional life as one of the first women Naval Architecture Technicians at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. Since then I have worked as an Architectural Designer, a Librarian, a Human Resource Specialist, a Day Care Director, a Teacher, and a Children's Mental Health Therapist. With six other women, I started and built Good Shepherd School, a Christ-centered school that worked to meet the needs of the whole child: body, mind, and spirit. Out of the Waspic is written as an allegory of Jesus' death and resurrection. I have a diploma in Fine Arts, a Bachelor's degree in Preschool Education from the University System of New Hampshire, and a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from New England College. With my husband of 52 years, I spend my time in rural New Hampshire and coastal Prince Edward Island.
