Jenny Coleman is an associate professor in feminist history and Director of Academic Programmes in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Massey University. She was head of the Womens Studies Programme at Massey 200011 and coordinating editor of the Womens Studies Journal 200409. She has published articles on a range of nineteenth-century New Zealand womens history topics, and two earlier books through Otago University Press: Mad or Bad? The life and exploits of Amy Bock (2010) and Polly Plum: A firm and earnest womans advocate Mary Ann Colclough 18361885 (2017).
