Kyle Flak was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and educated at Northern Michigan University. He is an MFA candidate at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. He is the author of Harmonica Days (New Sins Press 2009). His poems have appeared in Mudfish, Poetry East, Spinning Jenny, and Whiskey Island.
