Slawan Al Shaibani, is a self-accomplished woman entrepreneur, CEO and Founder of Spellbound Media and Advertising. Salwan, a UAE national was born and raised in a traditional household in Dubai, UAE. A creative, innovative and strategic thinker by nature, Salwan started her career as an intern with Citigroup, shortly after graduating with an honors degree from the George Washington University in Washington D.C. During her tenure as a banker Salwan climbed her way up by perseverance and determination. In a short span, she was recognized for her dynamic and strategic thinking which led her to manage many leadership roles before she moved to Sama Dubai and Dubai Holding where she played a pivotal role in framing strategies, risk management policies and financial analysis, before venturing into setting up her own business. Salwan is passionate about everything she takes on; among her many accomplishments Salwan, also a nature enthusiast and adrenaline junkie has summited Mount Fuji and hiked across Austria's mountainous grandeur. Her love for travel and exploring has made her adaptive to diverse cultures and cuisines.
