Claude Flight, originally from Newfoundland, now lives in Ottawa, Ontario, with his wife, Sandrine; three children, Lauren, Taran, and Keanan; and cat, October. Claude and his wife own and operate Parkdale Montessori School in Central Ottawa. In their free time, the family enjoys traveling, gardening, and feeding the fish, squirrels, chipmunks, and birds that live in their garden. Claude was inspired to write Sally's Stomach because of his children's insatiable desire to eat an endless variety of sweet treats.
