Since publishing the first book, Ancient Illumination, Rod Van Blake spent a year in St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands and relocated to the Baltimore area in Maryland. The third book in the Ancient Illumination series, tentatively titled Godhood, should begin shortly, along with his first foray into the fantasy genre.
