Evan Young (Mountain View, CA) is a product manager at SkyStream Networks, where he develops hardware and software for broadcast video and digital media services. He has previously worked on advanced consumer technologies for Geocast Network Systems and Philips Electronics. He has an MBA from Stanford University and a BA from Harvard University. While at Stanford, he founded "The Future of Content" an annual academic and professional conference on media, entertainment, and technology. He has also worked as a management and information technology consultant at Pricewaterhouse Coopers and American Management Systems. He is a composer and conductor, and has previously edited books on digital music composition and recording. He has been an avid TiVo user since 2000.
