Dr. Jayanta Kumar Patra was working as Research associate in Department of Biotechnology & Medical Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, Odisha, India. He has completed his M.Sc. (Biotechnology) from North Orissa University, Baripada, Odisha, India in2006 and PhD. (Life Sciences) in 2011 from the same university. Dr. Patra is presently working as Post doctoral researcher in Laboratory of Plant Molecular Physiology, School of Biotechnology, Yeungnam University, South Korea. He has about seven years of research and teaching experience in the field of Environmental and Pharmacological Biotechnology. He has guided four students for their M.Sc. dissertation work. He has undergone many professional training in the field of Biotechnology from various organizations of nationaland international repute. To his credit he has published thirty papers inInternational and National reputed journals and five book chapters. He is working as assistant editor for the scientific monthly magazine "Emerging Science" and member of editorial board for the journal "World Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences; International Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences; Frontiers in Agroecology and Land Use Systems."
